Lady Gaga has revealed she may get married without any wedding guests as she gave an insight into her nuptial preparations.
The Die With a Smile singer got engaged to her fiancé Michael Polansky back in April after more than four years of dating.
And while the Joker star, 38, has insisted nothing has been planned for their wedding yet, she admitted they are exploring the possibility of it just being the two of them visiting a local courthouse for the legal ceremony, before celebrating with a take-out.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday the host asked if she's planning a big Italian wedding as Gaga replied: 'I don't know what we're going to do. We're not exactly sure yet.
'We actually talk a lot about just going to a courthouse just the two of us and [then] ordering Chinese food. But also, knowing me, it could become like a circus with unicorns.'
The actress also admitted Michael, 46, asked her permission before he proposed to her following a rock climbing excursion.
She said: 'We went on a trip together and we went rock climbing. We'd been rock climbing before, which was super fun.
'He didn't propose to me at the top. We climbed up to the top, and we looked around, and we took some photos.
'We went back down and we were just walking back to the room. It was very Michael to ask me if he could ask me. He wanted to know if it was OK to propose before he proposed. I was like, "Yes! It's so OK!"
Jimmy then asked if Michael had got down on one knee to pop the question, as she replied: 'He didn't. I'm a modern lady, I like what he did.'
Gaga recently admitted she thought her businessman beau was joking when he proposed, because he chose to pop the question on April Fool's Day.
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, she explained: 'He proposed on April 1st, and I thought he was joking.
'Then when we went to the Olympics, we were filmed saying hello to the Prime Minister [Gabriel Attal] and I was caught on camera saying, "This is my fiancé". I had wanted to keep it a secret!'
The star has also expressed her excitement about starting a family with her fiancé as she exclaimed: 'I’m so happy to be in love, and I’m so excited to have a family.'
Asked about her 15-year goals by BuzzFeed Canada on Thursday she confirmed: 'So that’s definitely number one.'
At the premiere, the singer-turned-actress, who plays Harley Quinn in the film, radiated joy as she showed off her love for Michael on the red carpet.
The couple was spotted exchanging kisses throughout the event, walking arm-in-arm and holding each other close.
