Queen Mary of Denmark kicked off her trip to Brazil with a visit to Manaus - which is known as one of the most dangerous cities in the world.
The royal, 52, was effortlessly elegant as she visited the Amazon Museum MUSA at the Adolpho Ducke forest reserve - and later visited the Teatro Amazonas.
She is in the country for a four day official visit, where she and the Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard are focusing on 'Danish-Brazilian cooperation on biodiversity, health and the fight against violence against women'.
On Wednesday, she started appeared to be in great spirits as she took in stunning views of the Amazon.
The Queen basked in the sunlight while at the observation tower from the museum, sporting a chic yet practical button-up with trousers.
Mary donned a sage green shirt, the perfect ensemble for an active outing in nature, with brown cargos.
She kept her make-up light, accessorising with a pair of sunglasses, and styling her brunette tresses in a braid.
Elsewhere, the royal looked to enjoyed a boat trip on the Amazon river.
Later in the evening, Mary swapped over for a glamorous look for a visit to the Teatro Amazonas.
She was effortlessly elegant in a striking magenta top and patterned green skirt, teamed with a colourful yellow clutch.
The mother-of-four wore her brown hair down in structured curls, and accentuated her visage with red lipstick.
There, she signed a guestbook and received a model of the theatre as a gift. During her trip, the Queen will also make her way to the capital, Brasilia.
She is also set to visit the Cerrado - the Brazilian savannah - and meet with the United Nations Environmental Programme, UNEP, which she is a patron of.
During her trip, Mary will also 'meet with female leaders, representatives from ministries and the United Nations Population Fund, UNFPA, to discuss equality and the fight against gender-based violence in Brazil and globally'.
It comes as last week she joined her husband King Frederik and his aunt Princess Benedikte at the state opening of parliament.
The Danish queen, who shares four children with King Frederik, looked typically stylish in a coat dress and matching hat with a brooch.

The Australian-born royal wore her long brown hair in a bow-dry beneath her hat and carried a bouquet of pink flowers.
The three Danish royals were seated apart in the upper gallery, although Mary and Frederik were seen leaning across the empty seat between them to talk.
King Frederik wore a three-piece navy suit complete with a pale blue shirt and a bronze tie.
His aunt, Princess Benedikte, looked equally smart in a cream, tweed skirt suit, which she paired with a sky-blue hat and matching scarf.
She wore a pair of diamond earrings and carried a quilted Chanel handbag.
