Liam and Noel Gallagher might have put 15 years of bitter antagonism behind them for the sake of their £400 million comeback tour but they are, I can reveal, still some way to being besties.
Liam invited 20 of his closest family and friends for a week-long party in Ibiza last week to celebrate the end of his solo career – but notably absent from the festivities was his older brother.
After performing in Malta, Liam and his fiancee and manager Debbie Gwyther took a private jet directly to the party isle.
There I can reveal Liam – known for the distinctive way he sings the word 'sunshine' on many Oasis hits – shelled out a staggering £75,000 to hire the nine-bedroomed Fincadelica Xarraca, described as being 'among Europe's most exclusive escapes' to house everyone.
Among the guests were Debbie's sister Katie and her family, while Liam's three children from various ex-wives were also thought to be there: Lennon, 25, his son with Patsy Kensit; Gene, 23, his son with Nicole Appleton; and Molly, 26, his daughter with Lisa Moorish.
Even Liam and Debbie's rescue dog, Buttons, who apparently doesn't fly well, is understood to have been there.
My source says the party was also attended by 'some very close friends of Liam's – those who have stuck in there thick and thin.
People keeping him level-headed of late while the reunion has been organised. A load of us jetted off after Malta for a week in Ibiza and got back Monday. Noel definitely did not come. It was just a bunch of close friends. It was a time to decompress. Everyone had the most amazing time.'
And the choice of venue was befitting of a man who could make a reported £50million from the Oasis comeback tour.
The villa comes with a full private staff on hand to meet guests' every whim: 'There's a live-in housekeeping couple along with two further staff,' said the source.
It also features a sound-proofed nightclub, 80-seat cinema room, high-spec sound system, 15ft marble bar and 80ft pool.
I know Monaco is one of the most expensive places in the world but what does £350,000 get you these days? A parking space, to be exact.
The spot is at luxury apartment block Le Metropole, if anyone fancies putting in a bid.
Friday night
Amal Clooney probably isn't looking forward to Halloween, as she's already being scared witless by her son Alexander.
The seven-year-old uses Hollywoodgrade creepy-crawly props brought home by dad George to frighten her.
Says lawyer Amal: 'I can't tell you the things I'm finding under my documents, under my pillows. When George sees it, he's like, 'Son, I'm so proud.'
Queen Camilla has been enjoying some racy bedtime reading of late, courtesy of Strictly's Shirley Ballas.
The head judge says she sent a copy of her raunchy thriller Murder On The Dancefloor to the Palace 'not thinking in a million years she was going to read it because it's a bit hot and heavy.
But she wrote me the most wonderful letter back saying she was all excited.' Shirley is now planning to send the Queen her second offering, called Dance To The Death.
Hey, Ellie, you're not Kate any more!
She's playing Kate Moss in a forthcoming film and Ellie Bamber certainly channelled the supermodel's sartorial flair on the red carpet on Friday.
The 27-year-old turned heads in a sexy sheer black-striped outfit as she attended the premiere of her 14th Century war epic, William Tell, at the Zurich Film Festival.
The actress draped a black tuxedo blazer over her shoulders and wore her blonde tresses in tousled waves.
Ellie was seen in June sporting Kate Moss's 2001 pixie cut on the set of the upcoming film, Moss & Freud, on which Kate, 50, is one of the executive producers.
The biopic is a dramatised account of the model's relationship with artist Lucian Freud – played by Derek Jacobi – who painted her in 2002. The portrait later sold for £3.9million.
Rihanna, the jean genius
Everything Rhianna touches turns to gold – even jeans. The superstar's latest accounts show that her fashion firm, Denim UK Holdings, has £28million in the bank.
The Barbadian, 36, right, is already a billionaire thanks to her beauty and lingerie brands, as well as her music. The businesses have kept her so busy, she hasn't released an album since 2016
Theo's gem of a movie idea
Jeweller to the stars Theo Fennell could be taking his life story to the big screen.
Speaking to me at the House of Assets launch at his Chelsea store, Theo reveals: 'I wrote a book of recollections and someone has optioned it, so we are writing the script now.'
But when I asked if his daughter Emerald, the Oscar-winning screenwriter pictured with him, left, was helping, he said: 'Certainly not! It would be too close.'
Bake Off star Paul Hollywood and his wife Melissa riled villagers this year when they revealed plans to convert her family's 600-year-old inn into a home.
But now I can reveal a mystery saviour has put in a bid to buy The Chequers Inn, in Smarden, Kent, and will keep the Grade II listed property as a pub.
'It's been a political hot potato here for the last few months,' says a source. 'Things have been very tense.'
Melissa told a local council meeting last month that 'the last six months have shown the worst in people's behaviour'. Let's hope that peace is soon back on the menu…
