If you're looking for a new broadband deal offering speedier internet without breaking the bank, there are four deals currently available that fit the bill.
All deals supply very fast internet, with three being full-fibre and one being 5G.
Here are some of the best options for those looking for faster internet at a reasonable price.
Monthly price: £28
Download speed: 152 Mb/s
Perks: Amazon eero 6 router with dual-band Wi-Fi 6 included (RRP £109), £45 voucher
Length: 18 months
Set-up cost: £0
This is Money says: This is good deal, with TalkTalk cutting the price of its Full Fibre 150 deal (originally £37.99) to more like the cost of its slower Fibre 65 deal.
In other words, customers get double the speed for no extra cost. The offer is available until 20 October 2024.
Monthly price: £24
Download speed: 100 Mb/s
Length: 24 months
Set-up cost: £0
This is Money says: This is a good speed for the price, and represents a solid balance between internet speed and value.
Monthly price: £32.99
Download speed: 500 Mb/s
Length: 24 months
Set-up cost: £0
This is Money says: This package has a whopping 500 Mb/s average download speed, and Plusnet guarantees this will never fall below 275 Mb/s. While this is not the cheapest deal out there, some customers may decide that paying extra is worth it, especially those with larger households or high speed internet requirements.
Monthly price: £19.25
Download speed: 150 Mb/s
Length: 24 months
Set-up cost: £0
This is Money says: This is a well-priced deal for the speed on offer. The £19.25 a month figure is an average, as the first six months will cost £11 a month and the remaining 18 months £22 when bought through Uswitch.
TV/broadband option if you don't care about speed
Monthly price: £31.95
Download speed: 11 Mb/s
Length: 18 months
Set-up cost: £0
This is Money says: This deal bundles together broadband with TalkTalk's TV Hub. This gives you 70 channels, including streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime and NOW.
Although the monthly price isn't the cheapest, if a home already pays for several TV and streaming options then it could work out much cheaper overall.
However, the internet speed is extremely limited, due to the package using copper phone lines rather than more advanced fibre technology.
