The 'world's sexiest athlete' is officially headed to Paris for the Olympic Games.

German track star Alica Schmidt, who was previously given that enticing nickname, posted a video to her TikTok account over the weekend of when she found out she made the German Olympic team.

In the video, Schmidt is on the phone visibly emotional, wiping away tears from her eyes.

Schmidt is also walking around while on the phone, trying to digest the news as quickly as she can.

'When you get the call that you've made the Olympic team,' Schmidt posted in text on the video with a teary-eyed emoji.

Schmidt recently found out she had officially made the German track team for the Olympics

Schmidt had already qualified for the Olympics in May, with the recent call with likely a German Olympic committee higher-up only officially confirming her place in Paris.

The 25-year-old Schmidt was given the 'world's sexiest athlete' by Australian magazine Busted Coverage in 2017. She's gone viral on social media several times since with over seven million followers on Instagram and TikTok combined.

Schmidt also qualified for the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo, but did not compete at the global showcase.

The German has qualified this year in the 4x400 meter relay. If she officially enters the oval, it'll be her first time competing on track's biggest stage.

Schmidt commented further on social media about her upcoming Olympic debut.

'My biggest dream came true! In just one month, I will be in Paris, creating memories that will last a lifetime,' Schmidt said. 'This thought has been my motivation every single day for several years now, reminding me of why it is important to never give up on my goals and to put in the work.'

'No matter how big your dreams are, if you stay committed and believe in yourself, good things will come your way,' Schmidt continued.
