Strictly Come Dancing's Nick Knowles has revealed he is ready and raring to get back in the dance studio as soon as he's recovered from two operations.
The DIY SOS star, 62, appeared alongside his partner Luba Mushtuk on the spin-off show Strictly It Takes Two on Monday.
Speaking to host Fleur East the TV presenter revealed that he is due to have two procedures after injuring himself during rehearsals.
He told the show that after he had recovered he hoped to get back to rehearsals to prepare for his wedding.
Nick even shared that his professional partner Luba would be choreographing his first dance.
Taking to the show, he shared that he believed his elimination was the right decision from the judges following his time out from rehearsals.
He said: 'I think it was the right result in the end and it means I can get the various bits falling off sorted.
'I'm having an operation on my arm this week and an operation on my knee in a couple or three weeks.'
News of Nick's operations comes after he was forced to pull out of Movie Week and and was spotted with his leg in a brace and his shoulder in a sling.
And the reality show host seemed positive and was looking forward to the future.
He told Fleur: 'After I've had my operations I'm going to do some more training with Luba and I've got some important things to do like maybe next year join the Strictly tour.
'But more importantly I'm getting married next year and Luba's going to help choreograph the first dance.'
As Fleur smiled on at the news, Luba added: 'He always really wanted to do an Argentine Tango'.
She then revealed that she's been working on a dance for Nick and his partner Katie Dadzie who got engaged in October last year.
Fleur then asked Nick what he would be taking away from his time on the hit BBC show and he explained that it has ignited in him a love of dancing.
He told her: 'I fell in love with dancing.
'You don't realise that Luba has worked out all these dances and I felt I'd let Luba down so I desperately wanted to do more.
And Luba came to her dance partner's defence, saying that he had made a huge amount of progress despite his serious set backs.
She added: 'I feel he's got a dancer inside of him and I'm sure he will keep dancing after he's sorted all the bits.
'It's such a beautiful thing.'
Nick joked that he hadn't realised how dangerous dancing could be before revealing that his friends form rugby have made fun of him for sustaining two injuries during his time on the show.
Nick's admission come after he was the third star to be eliminated from the dancing competition on Saturday night.
The star performed their Charleston to Rain on the Roof from the film Paddington 2 but ultimately lost the dance-off to Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu.
After Nick was announced as one of the dancer's performing again for his place, he told Tess that it was the right decision for him to dance again.
He told the host: 'Its kind of right.
'There are some fantastic dancers here and I wasn't up to scratch for whatever reason.'
