Taylor Swift's army of fans have praised the US singer and her 'mumager' for keeping them safe during her blockbuster Eras Tour in August.

The security efforts around the superstar's London shows have been heavily scrutinised in recent weeks, including the request for a police escort to Wembley Stadium.

Indeed, one fan claimed the singer brought so much cash to the UK economy last summer - approximately £1billion, including £300m to London alone - the 'MET should have carried her to Wembley on their shoulders'.

Taylor's security concerns were given extra validation in light of three postponed gigs in Vienna in August, which were called off after US cops foiled a suspected terror attack.

Plus, a suspected stalker being arrested at one of her German concerts in Gelsenkirchen in July.

The singer's mum Andrea, affectionately dubbed 'Mama Bear' by Swifties, has received most of the acclaim, as she - in her role as her daughter's manager - reportedly spoke directly to senior officers and government officials, about security being ramped up by the police for the concerts and threatened to pull gigs if these requests were not met.

Flocking to social media to pay tribute to the Swifts, one fan wrote: 'There was so much security near and around Wembley, it was incredible.'

Another added: 'No one messes with Mama Swift, she will protect her babies at all costs,' while a separate commentator said: 'Taylor's parents are the best - being that protective has been necessary and worthwhile.'

Another user believed the security was 'warranted' following the Southport murders in July, when three young girls were killed and ten left seriously injured in a knife attack at a Taylor-themed dance workshop.

They said: 'This is totally warranted considering the plot on the Vienna show and also the attack on the little girls at the TS theme dance party.'

Taylor posted a message on his Instagram page in August highlighting the importance of protecting the 'half a million' people attending her Wembley gigs in wake of the Vienna terror plot.

She wrote to her 283 million followers: 'I decided that all of my energy had to go toward helping to protect the nearly half a million people I had coming to see the shows in London.

'My team and I worked hand in hand with stadium staff and British authorities every day in pursuit of that goal, and I want to thank them for everything they did for us.'

Taylor played eight sold-out London dates during her epic Eras Tour, which is the most dates ever performed at Wembley by a solo artist in a single tour, breaking a record set by Michael Jackson.

She said during her final Wembley show in August: 'You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour,' she told fans. 'We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it.'

The star's eighth Wembley show also saw her equal the overall record for the most nights at the venue on a single tour, set by Take That on their Progress Tour in 2011.

Taylor's UK jaunt also saw her play in Liverpool, Edinburgh, Cardiff, plus over the Irish Sea in Dublin, as she zig-zagged throughout Europe taking in other sold-out dates.

Taylor is currently on the final North American leg of her Eras Tour, which kicked off in March 2023, where she'll play three dates in Miami starting later this week, followed by shows in New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto, before finishing up in Vancouver, her final show taking place in December 8.
