Angelina Jolie was supported by her rumoured boyfriend Akala at the premiere of Maria at the 68th BFI London Film Festival at The Royal Festival Hall in London on Friday.
The actress, 49 sparked romance rumors with the British rapper, 40, when they were seen emerging from her hotel during Venice International Film Festival in August.
Angelina has been seen in public several times with Akala amid her continued bitter split from Brad Pitt, even though sources have told People that they are just friends.
At the premiere, the film star showed off her sense of style as she arrived on the red carpet in a black blazer with matching trousers.
Angelina also wore a matching low cut blouse while she added height to her frame with a pair of black boots.
Letting her blonde locks fall loose down her shoulders, Angelina complimented her outfit with a pair of gold drop earrings.
The Oscar-winning actress accentuated her natural beauty with a light palette of makeup.
It comes after Angelina and Akala went Instagram official with their rumoured romance.
The rapper could be seen at a New York City party that was hosted by Angelina for her company Atelier Jolie at the beginning of October.
Akala can be seen clearly in a photo at the event just before images of the Oscar-winning actress appeared in the same photo gallery.
The Eternals actress was interviewing Mustafa at the Atelier Jolie showroom on Great Jones Street.
It had been claimed by In Touch around the time of the Venice Film Festival that Angelina had been privately seeing Akala for 'more than a year'.
The rumors first began when Akala joined Jolie and her daughters Zahara, 19, and Shiloh, 18, at the Calabash Literary Festival in Jamaica in May of last year.
An eyewitness shared at the time that Akala was 'very protective of them as he shepherded them around.'
They enjoyed dinner together in Milan six months later, In Touch also claimed.
In addition to Zahara and Shiloh, Jolie and her ex-husband Pitt share sons Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, and 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
However, an insider told People that Jolie 'is friends with him and his partner, Chanelle [Newman] who was also there'.
Newman is his business partner and manager.
Yet Angelina and Akala do share a strong bond, with a second source stating: 'They share the same passion when it comes to social and humanitarian causes.
'They did several collabs over the years that focus on global issues like human rights. Angie speaks very highly of him.'
People's source claimed Angelina is 'currently single and not dating seriously'.
Akala - born Kingslee James McLean Daley - started out as a rapper before moving into political activism, endorsing former Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn in the 2017 UK general election.
His older sister is also the famous singer and rapper Ms. Dynamite.
Akala is reportedly in a relationship with Chanelle Newman who is co-founder and executive producer of Akala's music and the Hip-hop Shakespeare Company.
In Touch also claimed that the Maleficent star has been seeing another man as well, Broadway composer Justin Levine.
Angelina and Levine were seen together on Monday at the A New York Evening With The Outsiders at The Greene Space on in New York City.
'Angelina has been seeing two different men over the past year or so,' a source claimed to the outlet.
Tony-award winner Levine was a part of the Broadway production of The Outsiders, the musical Angelina produced.
In Touch reports he co-wrote the book and score for the play. Jolie's daughter Vivienne also worked as a producer's assistant on the program.
'Angie just adores Justin, and they’ve been spending so much time together that a lot of people think the relationship could turn romantic,' the source said.
An insider also shared with the site that the men are 'totally different' but Angelina is 'falling for both of them.'
The new romance rumors comes five years after Angelina was declared legally single from Brad Pitt.
It's not her first rumoured romance since then however as she was seen out with singer The Weeknd several years ago.
Also at the BFI on Thursday was the premiere of the documentary film Twiggy about the life of the famous 1960s model.
Twiggy, whose real name is Lesley Lawson, attended the event in a fuchsia blazer and trousers paired with a white top.
She posed alongside the film's director Sadie Frost who opted for a black silk dress with a low cut neckline.
Angelina's film Maria follows the life of famed opera singer Maria Callas.
The film opens in the last days of the soprano's life and looks back on all the triumphs and tragedies along the way.
Callas died of a heart attack at her Paris home on September 16, 1977. She was 53.
Angelina said that roles like Callas come along 'once in a lifetime,' adding, 'I mean, it’s certainly the most challenging,' Deadline reported.
To portray the opera singer, Angelina spent seven months learning six of the late singer's most famous arias.
Angelina was also excited to work with director Pablo Larraín saying, 'This kind of work is not asked of me very often. And if it’s asked of me, it’s not often with this kind of material and this director, so these things come once in a lifetime.'
Her experience making the film 'was beyond anything I could imagine, and it was a gift emotionally for me,' she said, adding that the role, 'changed me as a person. It helped heal a part of me.'
The Mr. and Mrs. Smith actress said it is hard to explain all the ways the role changed and healed her.
'It would be too personal to explain. But from that first day [on set] not being able to breathe and crying to singing at the top of my lungs at La Scala, Milan, those moments changed me.'
'Having the chance to combine my two most deep and personal passions, cinema and opera, has been a long-awaited dream,' Pablo Larraín said in a statement to Variety.
'To do this with Angelina, a supremely brave and curious artist, is a fascinating opportunity. A true gift.'
The Netflix film hits theaters in the U.S. on November 27 and debuts on the streamer on December 11.
It is considered to be a major awards season contender and premiered to an eight-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival.
Angelina is also serving as an executive producer of the musical adaptation of The Outsiders on Broadway and her daughter Vivienne, 16, worked as her assistant.
