It comes after Big Brother was slapped with almost 100 Ofcom complaints after ‘misogynistic’ comments sparked outrage amongst fans.

Contestant Marcello, 34, has fallen foul of fans after 'sexualising every conversation' and claiming incorrectly to have kissed Ali.

Many of the shows viewers have demanded that producers step in and rebuke him for his behaviour, with come contacting Ofcom.

Ofcom have confirmed the complaints are 'relating to Marcello’s behaviour and his alleged misogynistic comments in the Big Brother House.'

Sharing their thoughts on X, fans said: 'Big Brother should remove Marcello, he's said far too many uncomfortable misogynistic comments this series and its getting unbearable to hear every episode.'

Others added: 'Can Big Brother PLEASE pull Marcello up on all his clearly unwanted sexual remarks that he’s brushing off as a “joke” ???';

'The fact that a woman is getting evicted this week whilst that creep Marcello has not had ANY warnings from Big Brother for his behaviour…. The misogyny this season stinks';

'Can Big Brother call Marcello on his slimy behaviour tbh#BBUK'; 'Surely Marcello should be given a warning by Big Brother? At least??'; 'Big brother on Channel 4or 5 would’ve kicked Marcello OUT.'

On Monday, Big Brother viewers were left fuming after controversial housemate Marcello failed to receive a single nomination.

Marcello had a lucky escape when Ali, Daze and Lily received the most nominations and would face the public vote on Friday.

However, in a shock twist, Head of House Khaled was given the opportunity to either Save and Replace  one of the three ladies or deliver a Killer Nomination and add a fourth who would be put at risk of eviction.

After making his way to the secret basement Khaled chose to give a Killer Nomination ’and nominated Martha, who was later left sobbing when she learnt her fate.

Following Marcello avoiding the public vote fans rushed to X fuming: 'Marcello having no nomination is the pure beauty of BBUK where the public have to wait to see the villain get his comeuppance': 'I really can't believe we went through the nominations without one nomination for Marcello': 'How did Marcello escape nominations completely unscathed may I ask'.

Lily received six nominations from Emma, Hanah, Izaaz, Khaled, Segun and Thomas. Ali received five nominations from Baked Potato, Hanah, Khaled, Marcello and Sarah. Daze received five nominations from Dean, Izaaz, Marcello, Segun and Thomas.

In a previous episode Big Brother included the footage of Marcello and Ali to prove nothing happened after he claimed to have kissed lesbian psychologist Ali.

ITV2 viewers were furious after watching the scene unfold, and even demanded than producers step in and talk to Marcello about his behaviour.

'Does Marcello not know Ali is a lesbian?'; 'Wtf is Marcello doing? Making out like he got busy with Ali in there? that's not right'

'I think Big Brother should remove Marcello, he's clearly a danger to the female housemates'.
