After months of Aurora, Colorado officials claiming the city doesn't have a problem with Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, new video shows the criminal group is still running two apartment complexes in the Denver suburb to this day.
The footage shows a woman who just gave birth a week ago saying she was burned with scalding water by mobsters while pregnant who terrorize her and her husband.
The Guatemalan migrant is a resident of Whispering Pines Apartments, one of three Aurora properties where the bloodthirsty South American control has taken control of in recent months.
The new mom added she went into labor early due to the stress caused by living in constant fear for safety, as multiple units in her complex, including the people who live directly across the hall from her are TdA, as the gang is known to cops.
Tren de Aragua started seeping into the US, hidden among the 1 million Venezuelan migrants who have entered the US during the Biden Administration.
The notorious South American mafia, best known for sex trafficking girls and women and exploiting their fellow countrymen, now has tentacles that stretch across the US to places like New York, Miami, San Antonio, El Paso, Dallas - as DailyMail.com first reported.
'They kicked the door in. They tired to find a way...they came and threw hot water on us,' she told apartment managers who are trying to weed out the gangsters.
The victim, whose face is blurred for her protection, explained the Venezuelan criminals first came to them months ago, demanding they abandon their apartment so TdA could take it over.
Rental properties are key to the syndicate's growth in America and ability to make money, law enforcement officials have told DailyMail.com.
'Prostitution is a big money-maker, and the thing with prostitution is that it brings guys in that they can then sell dope to,' John Fabbricatore, the former director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement for Colorado explained in September.
'These guys come in, they meet these Johns and shake them down. See if they want to buy drugs. They’ve started with moving these girls through, and if you go in these apartments, you’ll see these young girls. It’s bad.’
When the Guatemalans refused to vacate their unit, they were met with extortion, as the thugs said the couple needed to pay them 'rent' if they were going to continue to live there.
After the expectant couple refused, their front door was kicked in. Then they were attacked with boiling water-- forcing her to an early labor.
'I was never at peace,' the victim stated in the Oct. 10 clip provided to DailyMail.com by law enforcement sources.
'Do you want to make a police report? I can't kick these people out unless you file a report,' the apartment management urges her with the help of a Spanish translator.
She agrees to talk more, but only from the privacy of her apartment, so the TdA members who live directly across the hallway from her don't listen in.
The gang's presence in Aurora made international headlines after footage of multiple armed men storming units in at the Edge of Lowry Apartments surfaced in late August.
As outrage over the images spread across the country, Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman denied Aurora had a gang problem and downplay the gang's presence in the city.
'There is a tendency to exaggerate and to say this incident that's isolated to three buildings under the same ownership with the same people, concentration of Venezuelan migrants, is the city of Aurora...that the entire city is unsafe,' he said in the Denver7 interview.
He went on to say that they were dealing with it by making arrests, however, months later, many TdA gangster are still running those complexes.
One law enforcement source described the Edge of Lowry overrun by TdA members and speaking to several prostitutes at Whispering Pines who are being trafficked by the crime ring.
Neither Aurora's mayor or police department responded to our requests for comment.
