Donald Trump took audio issues into his own hands Friday night and opted to hold the microphone for his hourlong speech, channeling his inner stand-up comedian during the event.

After the audience began cheering that they could not hear the ex-president just minutes into his speech, Trump ripped the microphone from the stand and began improvising.

'The mic is terrible ... I think this mic stinks.'

Ten minutes later he riffed on the equipment again: 'I've never held a microphone up so long in my damn life.'

Later when the audio cut out again he jokingly threatened to beat up the equipment staff.

'Do you want to see me knock the hell out of people backstage? I get so mad, I'm up here seething. I'm working my ass off with this stupid mic.'

Republican presidential nominee former President Donald Trump speaks at a campaign event Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, in Milwaukee. The audience quickly cheered 'fix the mic' to which Trump responded by ripping the mic from the holder and gripping it for the remaining hourlong speech where audio issues were consistent

It was his last rally to take place in Wisconsin where just across town Kamala Harris was holding a rally with rappers Cardi B and GloRilla.

Returning to Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee for the first time since claiming the Republican presidential nomination in July at the Republican National Convention, Trump sought to make his audience happy after the cheers to fix his mic broke out.

'Oh you're kidding me,' Trump said frustrated after the chants came up again after he thought the issues were fixed.

Holding the mic for so long Trump joked he'd 'blown up my left arm, my right arm, and I'm blowing up my damn throat.'

'What crap. The only thing I ask for is a mic. And I went through two of these today,' he continued, having apparently had audio issues at an earlier rally near Detroit.

'Do you want to see me knock the hell out of people back stage?' the Republican joked about what form his revenge for may take.

Eventually an aide ran on stage and handed the executive a wireless mic so he did not have to wag around the one still wired to the podium.

'And this mic is much heavier than the other one,' he remarked immediately.

'I can do exercise,' he followed up. 'I can build up my muscles.'

But he did admit he would not rather be anywhere else than Wisconsin, saying 'I'd rather be right here with a broken down sh** microphone.'

At one point he did a pseudo comedy routine pretending to adjust the mic stand like he has to at countless events on the campaign trail.

Eyes bursting open and jostling with the microphone holder he joked with the crowd how the audio placement is never just right.

Days after the Trump jumped in a garbage truck in a stunt to rebuke President Joe Biden for calling MAGA fans 'garbage,' the arena was shining with neon orange and yellow vests cheering in support of the 45th commander-in-chief.

The NBA arena which is the home to the Milwaukee Bucks was humming with excitement.

So many MAGA supporters arrived the custodians were prompted to open the third level promenade.

Waving signs over their heads and dancing to Trump rally classics 'Old Time Rock & Roll' by Bob Seger and  'Every Body Wants to Rule the World' by Tears for Fears the fans were exuberant during Trump's final Wisconsin stop.

One rally goer told DailyMail.com the Friday night rally was an 'historic' event given it was the former president's last in the Badger State.

Trump also hit his usual topics: He swore that this election on November 5 is the most important in the history of the country, he pledged to counteract President Joe Biden and VP Harris's border policies and kickstart the economy by unleashing American energy dominance.

Those issues may be enough to propel the former president back to the Oval Office as the final DailyMail.com poll of the race gives Trump a three-point lead over Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.

The poll of 1,000 likely voters, which has margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent, shows that Trump is trending up, with the support of 49 percent to Harris' 46 percent.

It was the second campaign stop of the day for the 78-year-old candidate who earlier had visited Warren, Michigan, a town just outside of Detroit.

Trump spoke in a reflective tone, remembering the great campaign victories and obstacles that had been navigated on the way to the present end of the campaign.

From his first appearance descending down his golden escalator in Trump Tower in 2015, to his 2020 COVID pandemic era rallies at airport hangars and other miscellaneous outdoor locals across America, the Trump campaign events end for good after his final event Monday night in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

'We're winding down,' he told the crowd in Warren on Friday. 'Nine years we've been doing it, right? And now we're winding down.'

Earlier in the day the Trump said former Rep. Liz Cheney is 'a war hawk, she kills people,'

'She wants to go kill people unnecessarily,' he said. 'She's actually a disgrace.'

He was doubling down on comments made Thursday during an interview with Tucker Carlson where Trump sparked outrage after asking how Cheney would feel with 'guns trained on her face.'

He called Cheney a 'dumb war hawk' and suggested she would feel uncomfortable facing a firing squad during the event in Arizona.

The state's Democratic Attorney General Kris Mayes said she's investigating his comments as a 'death threat' against Cheney.

The campaign has said Trump was criticizing Cheney as a warmonger and not purveying a threat.

Harris, meanwhile, similarly spent her day campaigning in Milwaukee, in fact she was only a dozen miles away.

Both Harris and Trump held dueling rallies in Milwaukee on Friday night as they battle it out for the battleground state.

The Democrat was joined at her rally by rappers Cardi B and GloRilla along with Isley Brothers.

Harris spent the day in Wisconsin, making her closing pitch to voters there. Trump held a rally in Michigan earlier in the day.

Polls show the race for the state’s 10 electoral votes is tied.

Four of the past six presidential elections in Wisconsin have been decided by less than a point, or fewer than 23,000 votes. Joe Biden won it in 2020 by less than a point. Trump won it over Hillary Clinton in 2016 by less than a point.

Democrats see Wisconsin – along with Pennsylvania and Michigan – as part of the ‘blue wall’ that will win them the election.

Harris is wrapping up her campaign in those states, Wisconsin on Friday; Michigan on Sunday and Pennsylvania on Monday.

Good news came for the Harris camp by way of a Marist poll indicating a boost for the Democrat heading into the weekend

New polling by Marist shows Kamala Harris with a slight edge in the so-called 'blue wall' states with just four days to go before the election

It found Harris is up three points in Michigan, and up two points in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania - all her final stops over the weekend.
