Aston Villa are set to sign Everton's Amadou Onana in a shock transfer worth £50 million.
Unai Emery's side are believed to have secured their 'key target' in signing the highly-rated Belgian midfielder.
Personal terms have reportedly been agreed between Villa and the 22-year-old on a long-term contract, the Athletic report.
Their sale is likely to 'all-but end' any chance of Everton selling Jarrad Branthwaite to Man United this summer, barring a huge bid similar to the price of Harry Maguire or Joško Gvardiol.
A number of top European clubs have reported their interest in signing Onana, such as Barcelona and Man United.
Arsenal in particular were also keen on the midfielder, but it looks set that Onana will snub Mikel Arteta's Gunners for Emery's side.
