Fans think they've figured out who Lamine Yamal's new girlfriend is after he was spotted out shopping with a TikTok star.
Teenage sensation Yamal has shot to stardom in the past year after shining for Barcelona and Spain during Euro 2024 this summer, before claiming the 2024 Golden Boy award.
During his journey to the top, Yamal's love life has also started to take off. In summer, he was reportedly dating Barcelona-based influencer Alex Padilla before they broke up.
Now, fans believe they've figured out Yamal's latest love interest after spotting him out with TikTok star and model Anna Gegnoso in La Roca village in Barcelona.
In a video shared on Instagram, Yamal, 17, and Gegnoso, 19, were seen out shopping just days after his return from injury - which came during Barca's 2-1 defeat by Las Palmas.
Reports claim that Gegnoso, alongside her influencer friend Fabiola Baglieri, flew all the way from Italy to cheer on the Golden Boy winner from the stands against Las Palmas.
Though she not be as well known as the Barcelona star, Gegnoso boasts a staggering following on social media. She has 595,000 followers on Instagram and a further 835,000 on TikTok.
Back in summer, Yamal unfollowed his ex-girlfriend Alex Padilla on social media in response to a viral video, according to a report in Spain.
TikTok star Padilla was spotted seemingly sitting on another boy's lap on an Instagram live video which sparked a fevered speculation on the status of her relationship with Yamal.
Following Spain's triumph at Euro 2024, where Yamal starred and took home the Young Player of the Tournament award, the pair were inseparable as they celebrated with his team-mates and their friends and family on the Berlin pitch.
Padilla, who boasts a TikTok following of 1.7million, was in attendance for several of La Roja's group stage matches in Germany and was often seen sitting alongside the Barcelona winger's family prior to their break-up.
Meanwhile, Yamal made history earlier this month with his record-breaking Golden Boy Award - after announcing himself on the scene in style in 2024.
The Golden Boy award is given each year to the young player that has shown themselves to be head and shoulders above the rest, as a sort of Ballon d'Or equivalent for youths in the top leagues.
It is an award that has been handed out to the likes of Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe over its 20-year history, with England superstar Jude Bellingham the current holder of the title.
In total, English players have won the award on three occasions - Raheem Sterling the other Three Lions star to have done so back in 2014 - but there were four more nominated this season in a stacked list of contenders.
There was stiff competition this term, with Adam Wharton, Kobbie Mainoo, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Rico Lewis all up for the gong, along with the likes of Warren Zaire-Emery, Alejandro Garnacho, Savio and Arda Guler.
Yet it was Yamal, the 17-year-old who helped power La Roja to European Championship glory over the summer, who was deemed the best of them all.
