Sydney attacks see teenage woman left with bloodied face

A teenage woman has been bashed and an elderly woman robbed, during a spate of wild attacks by three men in Sydney's west.

The spate of incidents began when police were called to Lethbridge Park at 6.30pm on Monday, after a man allegedly attempted to rob a petrol station.

But after leaving the service station and allegedly robbing a 66-year-old woman, the man was joined by two friends with who he visited a nearby apartment and allegedly attacked the 19-year-old woman.

The 20-year-old man who initially entered the service station allegedly approached the counter before asking for a packet of cigarettes.

But just moments later he allegedly threatened the attendant while also claiming to be in possession of a knife.

Despite his threats, the man left the store empty handed, before allegedly stealing money from a 66-year-old woman as she entered the shop to pay for her fuel.  

After fleeing the store a 23-year-old man allegedly entered and grabbed a number of packets of chips, before also running from the scene.

Police were called to the service station and commenced an investigation, before an assault was reported at a nearby unit.
