The final series of Poldark arrives on screens this month.
And the BBC drama's star Aidan Turner has spilled all on the final days of filming, revealing the last scene he shot was, fittingly for the period drama pinup, an intimate bedroom scene with his onscreen wife Eleanor Tomlinson.
The actor admitted it felt right to wrap the fifth and final series on a scene with Eleanor, who plays Captain Ross Poldark's wife Demelza.

Speaking of his close friendship with Eleanor, Aidan explained to The Mirror: 'It's brilliant, it's always been amazing. You click with somebody on set and we always have.'
'Our last day was just myself and Eleanor doing some bedroom scenes. It was quite intimate and quite lovely and it seemed to make sense that it was just the two of us. It was very poignant.'
Of their characters' rollercoaster relationship, Aidan teased: 'They've overcome a lot and they're in a good place by the end of the series.'

Friendship wasn't the only memento Aidan took from Poldark's Cornwall set though, as he admitted he picked up the kitchen table and benches from his character's home, which now take pride of place in his London house.
