Anwar Hadid was pictured engaging in an heated altercation with a stranger who accused him of stealing his Apple AirPods in the street in London on Friday.

The American model, 20, was confronted by Brian Clarke who allegedly asked him if he had found his headphones, after tracking the AirPods to the group on his iPhone.

Anwar appeared insulted by the accusation judging by his animated expression during the intense debate which took place outside a cafe in Hampstead.

Aside from Mr Clarke's account, Mail Online understands that there is no evidence of theft.

Brian, 44, who had no idea the man in a tartan hoodie was a superstar, told MailOnline: 'The geezer was 'effing and blinding' at me, giving it the big one.

He said: 'I told him to watch it or I'd go get my dog to settle it. He was swearing at me saying 'I haven't got your f****** iPhone, f*** you man.

Anwar was out and about with his friend Chass Bryan when the moment he encountered Brian in the street was captured on camera.

Explaining how he lost his AirPod, Brian said: 'I was going to Marks & Spencer to get my mum a cake. I stopped outside the café next door to speak to someone. I took my earpods out and put them in my jacket pocket. There is a whole in the jacket and one fell out.
