Australia's biggest comedians are performing in Melbourne for bushfire relief

The country's biggest comedians including Tom Ballard, Hannah Gadsby and Joel Creasey are planning to hit the stage to raise much-needed funds for Australian bushfire relief

The biggest names in Australian comedy are planning to hit the stage to raise funds for bushfire relief.  

Wil Anderson, Tom Ballard, Hannah Gadsby and Dave Hughes will be headlining Stand Up for Bushfire Relief at Melbourne's Palais Theatre on January 20. 

On Tuesday, Tom, 30, took to Instagram to announce the event.

'Melbourne folks! Come laugh and raise some much-needed funds for bushfire relief,' he wrote.  

Many of the talented comedians involved are already regular performers on the Melbourne comedy circuit.  

Other stars to make an appearance on the night include The Project's Tommy Little, Orange Is The New Brown star Nazeem Hussain, Joel Creasy,
