And on Thursday, the 45-year-old celebrity chef addressed his friendship with Pete Evans, who he replaced on the Channel 10 series.

'He wished me well with this. I have known Pete for 10 years, we are friends, we used to live near each other,' he said.

'We don't have to agree with each other's views, that is what a friendship with someone is. But as a person, I think he is a nice guy.'

Colin was contacted by Channel Ten to appear on the latest season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! after Pete shared a cartoon on social media, which had an image of the Black Sun symbol from Nazi Germany
