Channel 10 announced the news on Twitter, posting a photo of Gordon in his chef's apron alongside the caption: 'Gordon Ramsay is back!'

Gordon's guest appearance will be during the first elimination round on Sunday.
It remains to be seen if he shows any favouritism towards his daughter Tilly Ramsay, who is one of the contestants on the show.
Tilly told Body + Soul earlier this month: 'I have so many favourite moments with dad - from learning to cook at age four while he was filming the TV series The F Word, to messing about and filming silly, fun dancing videos.'
