When she was announced as Australia's fourth Bachelorette earlier this week, some fans dismissed Ali as 'boring' based on her appearance on Bachelor In Paradise.
But in 2013, Ali was considered one of the more memorable Bachelor contestants thanks to her 'stage-five clinger' reputation and painful shattered kneecap injury.

In the first episode of The Bachelor's debut season, Ali made the biggest splash on opening night.
Her awkward attempt to turn a peck on the cheek with Tim Robards into a full-on kiss didn't end particularly well.
'Did she actually just try to kiss him?' the other women asked, as they watched Ali lunge forward expectantly, only to get a 'thanks, but no thanks' response.
In fact, during the After The Final Rose reunion episode, host Osher Günsberg even managed to get Tim and Ali to both admit the moment was 'cringeworthy'.
Keyboard warriors were far less sympathetic in their verdict of Ali at the time - but it's safe to say they didn't find her 'boring'.
