Denise Van Outen, 44, insists she's too old to have more children

She hasn't been afraid to share her desires of welcoming a baby with her beau Eddie Boxshall in the future.

But Denise Van Outen fears she's on a race against time as she confessed her menstrual cycle interrupts her opportunities to conceive in an interview with The Mirror.

The Loose Women star, 44, also revealed her thoughts on welcoming her first child Betsy, eight, at 34, admitting she wishes she got pregnant younger.

Speaking on the possibility of expanding her family, the ITV presenter said: 'I would have more kids but I’m 44, [but] I don’t know. Eddie has two kids already and they are grown up.'

She added: 'If it happened, then fine but I think probably all my eggs are ­shrivelled up. We are never in the right place at the right time, every time I see him I’ve got to drop the p-word.'
