Mario Balotelli is free to leave Brescia this January, according to the club's president Massimo Cellino.  

The former Manchester City and Liverpool striker joined on a free transfer in the summer after leaving Marseille, but was the victim of racist abuse during the club's 2-1 defeat by Hellas Verona on November 3. 

The 29-year-old picked up the ball and booted it into the crowd and threatened to walk off the pitch after reacting to the actions of some home fans in the stadium.
