Nigel Clough is to be appointed as the new manager of Mansfield Town.

The 54-year old has agreed a three year contract and will be confirmed this weekend after. The Stags sacked Graham Coughlan at the end of October after their winless start to the season and they currently sit 22nd in the League Two table.

Clough stepped down as manager of Burton Albion in May as the financial impact of the Covid pandemic hit the club.
