UK Anti-Doping missed out on the contract to test samples from London 2017  Germany company Professional Worldwide Controls will take on doping duties  As a result, samples will be taken by Eurostar to a laboratory in Ghent, Belgium

Usain Bolt's urine will be travelling by Eurostar during the London World Athletics Championships.

On a day when the boss of UK Anti-Doping said she was ‘disappointed’ that the national agency will not be involved in protecting the integrity of the event, it emerged that all the samples taken from Bolt and his fellow athletes will be taken to a WADA accredited laboratory in Ghent by high-speed train.

As Sportsmail revealed in February, UKAD lost out to a private German company, Professional Worldwide Controls, after London 2017 invited agencies to bid in an ‘open tender process’ for a contract believed to be worth a shade under £1million.
