A former Oxford University worker left her husband after 46 years and set up home with a busker she met in their street.

Kevin Smithson, 68, caught his wife Lynda kissing lute player Edward Fitzgibbon outside their house last month.

Shortly afterwards, Lynda, 66 - who worked at the institution's institute of archaeology for 39 years - announced she was leaving him.
