A 12-year-old boy who died after being hit by a car outside his school is being remembered as being 'full of dreams and ambition' by his community.
Marshall Oakley Stagg died outside the front of Cosgrove High School, in Glenorchy in Hobart's north, after being struck by a driver at about 3pm on Friday.
The 12-year-old, known as 'Marshie' by friends and family, is being remembered as a happy-go-lucky boy known by his schoolmates as being 'the funny guy'.
'Marshie was a 12 year old entering his first year of grade 7 full of dreams and ambition,' local mum Kristy Canham wrote on a GoFundMe page.
'Happy go lucky and as described by his mum, would say the most random things daily. That smile would lighten up any room he walked into.'
