This is the gut-churning moment a passenger plane struggles to land at a German airport in the middle of a storm.

The plane can be seen dramatically swerving from side to side as it approaches the runway of Dusseldorf Airport during Storm Herwart.

At one point the aircraft is being blown so strongly that is flying diagonal to the airstrip.

It eventually lands after a few final swerves in either direction, with the left wheel touching the tarmac well before the right.
