Louis, 26, is well known for being a part of global sensation One Direction who were put together during the bootcamp stage of X Factor in 2010.
Robbie, 44, was also part of another worldwide sensation as part of Take That before venturing into a solo career.
However, taking their seats on the infamous ITV panel during the first episode of the new series, the men resurface their boyband pasts when Louis takes a swipe at Robbie’s former career.
The pop star is left gobsmacked when Louis states the name "Take That" was just as corny as his own band’s name "One Direction".
Poking fun at the boyband stereotype, Robbie is seen shaking his head as the audience laugh at Louis remarks.
The issue of boyband names arises when the first act of the series, No Labels, takes to the stage.
Facing their idols, the boyband admit they believe their is a gap in the music industry for them to make their mark.
Coming from hugely successful boybands, Louis and Robbie are taken a back that the singing hopefuls believe they can replace them.
However, are No Labels next big boyband to sell records across the globe or will they fall at the first hurdle?
This year, the arena auditions return as the show shakes up the format getting rid of the original room auditions once more.
