The Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to hold a private christening for Archie Harrison this Saturday at the Queen’s private chapel. The pair will release posed photos from the day to media outlets and on their Instagram account. But royal expert Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine has hit out at their plans.
Ms Seward told the Daily Mail: “I think what people want and what people are used to seeing are lovely family images of the baby in the royal Honiton lace christening gown.
“They won't want an arty Instagram shot of Archie's foot three days later if it's left up to the couple themselves to take pictures and release them.”
The royal couple have released two photos of Archie since he was born on May 6.
Both pictures, which were shared on SussexRoyal, hid Archie’s face showing his feet and later part of his face.
