Cruise ship Emerald Harmony has been filmed being built from scratch in a fascinating time-lapse video. The new Star-Ship is cruise line Emerald Waterways’ latest vessel, due to sail in Southeast Asia. The cruise company released the construction of the ship to celebrate one month until the ship begins sailings along the Mekong River. The time-lapse video captures the extraordinary work that goes into building such a large vessel.
A CRUISE ship has been captured in a fascinating time-lapse video showing its construction from start to finish. Cruise line Emerald Waterways revealed the incredible footage one month ahead of the ship’s first voyage.
The footage shows the initial construction, the painting, the finishing touches and finally the ship being launched into the river.
Catering to just 84 guests, the Star-Ship provides spacious suites and public areas.
It includes Emerald Waterways’ signatory Sun and Pool decks to relax on, a wellness area with spa, the Horizon Bar & Lounge, and Reflections Restaurant.
Exclusive to the cruise line is the Lotus Lounge, an area to relax after a day exploring onshore.
The modern ship has been custom designed to cruise into the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, the dynamic Vietnamese city, offering river access into the heart of the city.
Emerald Harmony is the river cruise operator’s eighth Star-Ship, and the first to operate outside of Europe.
