Ivanka is currently a senior adviser to the President, along with her husband Jared Kushner. This is a position of unprecedented importance for a President’s family member, leading her to be dubbed the ‘First Daughter’, a title she reportedly likes. The appointment sparked accusations of nepotism.
However, the extraordinary moment that revealed Ivanka’s significant influence over her father was back in 2010 when she was working at the Trump Organisation.
Mr Trump’s associate Felix Sater, previously an on-the-job tutor for Ivanka, had been given an office two doors down from the future President.
According to the 2019 book ‘Kushner inc’, Ivanka asked her father to fire Mr Sater and he reluctantly obliged.
Author Vicky Ward wrote: “Trump reluctantly did what his daughter wanted and Sater left the company.

According to Mr Sater, he had been valuable to Ivanka as a joint venture partner, but as a senior adviser she saw him as “a threat”.
A source told Ms Ward that Mr Trump’s initial reaction to Ivanka’s demand was incredulity.
He reportedly said: “Are you f***ing kidding me? Felix is a moneymaker.”
