The Duchess of Sussex visited the Victoria Yards initiative on Monday. The social enterprise scheme brings together local artisans, charities and start-ups. Arriving at the charity, Meghan brought with her three notebooks from an organisation called Young Bucks.
The charity uses recycled books to bind books and are made by local interns and shares a surprising link with the Duchess.
Young Bucks, is stationed in Victoria Yards and is in collaboration with Maker’s Valleys partnership.
Co-director of Maker’s Valley, Simon Sizwe Mayson, revealed that Meghan had at one time, taught bookmaking classes.
Mr Sizwe Mayson said: “She bought these three little notebooks and also mentioned that she used to do workshops in bookbinding herself.
