GREECE is fearful one nation may use the EU to seize more power in Europe and wants the UK to remain in the bloc to prevent it according to an expert.

Political commentator Jonny Gould argued that Greece was fearful Germany would become too powerful in the EU after Britain leaves. While on talkRADIO he noted that Greece did not have a good relationship with Germany and would trust in the UK to counterbalance Germany’s power in the bloc. Brexiteer Tory Emily Hewertson also explained that despite this young Greeks would be opposed to staying in the EU because of the low employment rates.

TalkRADIO host James Whale said: “Actually I don’t think we need to do a deal we just need to leave.

“Once we leave then they will do a deal, and be begging us for a free trade deal, everything will be fine.”

Ms Hewertson added: “I agree, it has literally got to the point where we are shouting please can we just leave.

“It is now a case of people vs Parliament.
