Princess Beatrice, 31, will become the next royal family member to walk down the aisle when she ties the knot with Italian property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 36, later this year. Unlike previous royal weddings, Beatrice could get married in Europe in a much smaller ceremony as the wedding is also not expected to receive major television coverage. Royal expert Angela Mollard may have given the reason for this as she noted there was “unrest” from taxpayers who foot the £13million security bill for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding.
Speaking on the ROYALS podcast, Ms Mollard said: “We don’t know yet very much about it although it will be small and not be paid for by the taxpayer.
“There was a lot of unrest after Eugenie’s wedding which cost £2million in security.
“That came of course off the back of Meghan and Harry getting married and their security was horrendous £13million.
“But the real thing we haven’t talked about yet is why this is going to be so quiet.
