Kate Middleton became the Duchess of Cambridge when she married Prince William in 2011. She has since worked as a senior member of the Royal Family with her role becoming more important over the years. As Chinese Year of the Rat starts today, predictions suggest Kate could be set for another huge new role.
Chinese New Year is a festival that celebrates the start of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar.
This year it is the Year of the Rat which is the first of all zodiac animals and is associated with new beginnings, according to chinesenewyear.net.
The website said: “In the terms of yin and yang, the Rat is yang and represents the beginning of a new day.”
Predictions have said this is also likely bring new beginnings for Kate Middleton as she could take on a huge new role.
