As Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) decided it was time to move on from Hawkins with her sons Will (Noah Schnapp), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Hopper's voice is heard reading a letter that he intended to give to Eleven.
Eleven, who Hopper had been taking care of since she first came into the series, read the letter for the first time as she got ready to leave the town and her friends for good.
Through teary eyes, she read how much he loved her and was scared of her growing up and leaving him.
But streaming service Netflix has confirmed today, Friday, February 14, whether or not Hopper is still alive.
