Last year, a Game of Thrones prequel entitled Bloodmoon was in the making but HBO decided to scrap it and start again. This is how House of the Dragon started to take shape and will be the prequel which tells the story of the Targaryens. So this could be an opportunity for actress Emilia Clarke to make another appearance.
House of the Dragon will be based on author George RR Martin’s book on the history of Westeros, Fire and Blood.
The new series will primarily focus on the House of Targaryen and dragons but will not go over what has already been shown in the original Game of Throne series.
House of the Dragon will be based around 300 years prior to the events of the GOT series.
And rather than show the ongoing battle between the various houses, House of the Dragon will show what the Targaryen ancestors got up to before all of the drama involving their descendants.

As House of the Dragon is a prequel set hundreds of years prior to GOT, Daenerys hasn’t even been born yet.
So it does seem unlikely she will be making an appearance in the upcoming series.
Unless the show randomly introduces flash-forwards centuries into the future, actress Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys will not be making an appearance in the show.
However, this doesn’t mean Clarke could not feature in the show.
