Game of Thrones House of the Dragon was given the green light by HBO as a prequel series to the original Game of Thrones series. The new series follows the Targaryens and will be set about 300 years before the events of the original show. Fans have spotted a clue which suggests one of the Game of Thrones crew will come back for the prequel series.
Seeing as the prequel series is set so far in advance of Game of Thrones, fans are not likely to see any of the original cast members return.
Fans will most likely see the ancestors of the main houses including the Starks, Baratheons, Lannisters and others.
Aegon Targaryen is likely to appear, as well as his sister-wives Rhaenys and Visenya, as they were all mentioned a number of times in the series.
According to Knight Edge Media, a casting call went out looking for stars to audition to play Aegon, Visenya and Rhaenys Targaryen earlier this year.
