Sophie, Countess of Wessex has worn many pieces of jewellery since she married Prince Edward. As well as wearing lavish items from the royal collection, a style expert explained she has a subtle necklace with a personal meaning.
Like many royal brides, Sophie first dived into the royal collection on her wedding day.
On June 19, 1999 she walked down the aisle wearing the Anthemion tiara which was thought to be made from pieces of Queen Victoria's Regal Circlet.
She accessorised the look with a matching black and white pearl necklace that was a gift from her husband.
Since they married, Sophie and Prince Edward have had two children together, Lady Louise Windsor, 16, and James, Viscount Severn, 12.
