Most estate agents are on hand to help Britons who are buying or selling a property. However, they may offer some advice that is not necessarily helpful for the homeowner.
With the property market well and truly open for business, some Britons will be considering moving home.
Whether they are looking to buy or sell, most people will ask for the help of an estate agent.

Those selling their property will obviously want to get the highest possible fee.
But homeowners should be wary of estate agents who offer a high valuation for the home, according to property expert at Nested Jamie Salisbury.
He said: “Be careful of choosing the estate agent who gave you the highest valuation.
"This is often a tactic used to win your business, and is not necessarily based on the true market value."
