Jet2 has decided to further cancel flights and holidays to the Canary Islands up and including October 17. The carrier and tour operator said that anyone affected bu the changes will be contacted to discuss their options. Customers who have been affected can rebook with no admin fee, receive a Refund Credit Note or a cash refund.
Jet2 added: "For bookings due to travel to the Canary Islands from October 18 onwards, we will provide an additional update once we receive further information from the government.
"We would like to thank our customers for their continued patience and understanding."
The airline also suspended its package holidays to Faro in Portugal up to and including October 31 last week
The carrier said it would continue to operate flights to Faro with a revised flight programme.

However, customers will be contacted if their flights or package holidays are affected.
"We can assure our customers and partners in Faro that we remain completely committed to this fantastic destination," Jet2 said.
They also said that bookings for next summer and winter are "looking strong".
Although flights and holidays to some destinations have been suspended, there is one holiday spot that is more popular than ever among Britons.
