Andrea McLean has been a firm fixture on the Loose Women panel for the past 13 years. The ITV favourite has now spoken out about the moment her "world fell apart", just moments before she was due to go on-air.
The 50-year-old presenter revealed that when she was "called out" by her ITV colleague and friend backstage, it changed her life dramatically.
The candid admission comes as the presenter embarks on a book tour for her latest offering, This Girl Is On Fire.
The autobiography delves into her personal experiences with recovery after she suffered a breakdown.
Speaking with Chris Evans this morning, the Loose Women panellist opened up about the time her colleague pulled her to one side and left her crying "tears of humiliation".

Virgin Radio host Chris began: "The book starts off with a conversation you had in the makeup room with your makeup artist behind the scenes at Loose Women.
"Lots of things go on in makeup and wardrobe. Lots of conversations go on."
He continued: "You can spend a lot of time - especially if you're a female, as there's more pressure for women to look good on telly and in movies - you can end up spending more time with your makeup and wardrobe people than your own family.
"Tell us what happened. What was the straw that broke the camel's back?"
