During Monday’s This Morning, ITV hosts Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes invited skincare expert Liz Earle on to chat about the benefits of matcha tea. Before they began making the tea, Rochelle told her co-host she makes matcha tea every morning because she doesn’t like tea or coffee. Liz, who demonstrated how to make the drink via video link at home, guided Rochelle and Phillip as they attempted to make their own tea in the studio. Although, when it came to the taste test, it’s safe to say Phillip was not a fan.
“I think it does need the honey, to be honest,” Liz explained as Phillip took his first sip.
Although before she could finish her sentence, Phillip looked disgusted as he put his hands to his face and poked his tongue out in a bid to get rid of the taste.
“It’s really not a good one,” Rochelle chipped in.

Rochelle continued: “It’s really not a good one, even I didn’t like that.”
Phillip tried to take the taste away by rubbing a napkin on his tongue, although, it didn’t seem to work as he commented: “I can’t keep my face straight.”
Liz went on to try and convince the ITV host that there were other ways to enjoy matcha.
“Did you know you can bake with it?”
