Hayley Palmer has clarified her relationship status with millionaire MAFS star Ben Jardine after the pair were thought to be growing close after a night out together. 

The TV presenter, 43, revealed last month she has a new man in her life, however she refused to identify his name at the time. 

And now Hayley has clarified her and Ben's relationship status as she confirmed the pair are just 'good friends' and are 'enjoying spending time together.' 

The pair have known each other for a while and have been getting along since Hayley invited him to her birthday party in July. 

Ben, 42,  first hit screens in 2018, when he married Stephanie Saint-Remy on the Channel 4 dating show. 

However he left both his wife and fans devastated when he cheated and later demanded a divorce. 

Since his appearance on the show Ben has twice become a father. 

He welcomed his daughter Siena Grace, five, with his former girlfriend, Spanish yoga teacher Silvia Sanchiz in 2019, and also shares son Jude, born in July 2023, with a mystery woman. 

Meanwhile a source told The Sun: 'Since her split from Mark, Hayley's been slowly finding her confidence again and Ben's been a huge support.' 

The source added: 'They've even landed a presenting gig at The Boat Show comedy club together, which has given them the chance to really enjoy each other's company.

'Right now, they're just having lots of fun and seeing where things go, but there's definitely a spark.'

MailOnline have also contacted Ben's representatives for comment.

Hayley announced her and Mark's split in May, just days after their one-year anniversary, with her later claiming she was left heartbroken after being dumped in a three-minute phone call. 

However, last month the star confessed she had moved on and was 'dating a certain someone' during an Instagram Q&A with her followers. 

During the Q&A, a follower asked Hayley: 'Are you dating anyone?!' to which Hayley responded with: 'There is a certain someone..(heart eyes emoji).. But I'm not revealing all! X' 

It comes after Hayley branded her ex-boyfriend Mark 'beastly' after he dumped her via a three-minute phone call.

She claimed that Mark 'lives up to his nickname' after 'blindsiding' her by brutally breaking up with her over the phone. 

She also revealed Mark ended their year-long romance because he did not want to divorce his ex-wife Katie. 

Speaking to The Sun, Hayley explained: 'He has really lived up to his name. The Beast has been a beast.' 

'It has come as a complete shock. I thought we were really happy.'

'I'm heartbroken and blindsided. His behaviour has been beastly.'

Hayley added she was disappointed that Mark didn't discuss their relationship issues face-to-face and ended up blocking him so he could no longer contact her.

In July, Hayley told the My Dirty Laundry podcast that she is having counselling for 'betrayal trauma' after splitting from The Chase star Mark, aka The Beast.

She admitted she is having 'nightmares and flashbacks' weeks after the quizzer, 59, broke up with her in a three-minute phone call, leaving her blindsided.

MailOnline contacted Mark's representatives for comment at the time.  

In May, Mark announced his split from Hayley, after one year together.

After marking their one-year anniversary on social media in May - Mark later claimed there was too much of an age gap between them. 

Confirming the news of their break-up on Instagram, Hayley wrote: 'It is with regret I announce that myself and Mark have gone our separate ways. We had the best year together and I truly wish him all the best for the future.'

A source told The Sun: 'Mark had a lovely time with Hayley and has a lot of respect for her but they wanted different things.'

'She loves getting dressed up and going out to parties and showbiz events, whereas he prefers to stay at home.'

'Mark felt there was too much of an age gap between them for long-term success. They are still friendly.'

'Away from his job on telly and filming, Mark enjoys a quiet life and spending time with his son. He is still hopeful he can meet someone to settle down with one day.'

The pair had been dating since early 2023, with Mark previously admitting he was a 'very very lucky man' to be with her.

Sources claimed the star wooed the TV presenter on a string of dates after being 'friends for some time', following his split from his wife Katie in 2020.
