Actor Rufus Sewell will be hoping it’s third time lucky after he got married again. The 56-year-old tied the knot with American actress Vivian Benitez last week, just months after they announced their engagement during a romantic getaway to Rome.
While the bride, 27, wore a beautiful white gown, Rufus, who plays Prince Andrew in Netflix show The Scoop, opted for a cream suit paired with black shoes and tie.
Taking advantage of a cloudless sky, the happy couple, left and below, posed for pictures in the grounds of picturesque Manorbier Castle in West Wales.
Vivian’s family seem unconcerned with the 29-year age gap, with her Cuban grandmother Mirna, then aged 83, saying previously: ‘Age is just a number and we all think Rufus is a wonderful man. We’re teaching him salsa.’
Rufus was previously married to Australian entrepreneur Yasmin Abdallah and director and producer Amy Gardner.
She's in Devon Heaven! Kirsty goes Instagram official with her new man
Almost a decade after her divorce, Kirsty Gallacher has found love again... and it seems she has a type.
The broadcaster, who was married to former rugby player Paul Sampson until 2015, has just enjoyed a romantic getaway with her new beau – another ex-rugby player.
She posted a series of photographs of their trip to Devon, but was keen to obscure her new man’s identity, with one picture showing just part of his face and another with his back to the camera.
But I can reveal the mystery man is Darren Clayton, who was a flanker for Surrey club Esher and now runs sports event group Zeus alongside former England captain Chris Robshaw.
At 38, Darren is a decade younger than former Sky Sports presenter Kirsty, the daughter of legendary golfer Bernard Gallacher.
Last year Kirsty, the mother of two teenage boys, admitted she found her divorce ‘devastating’ – adding: ‘I was grieving and mourning.’ And while she conceded she was ready to find love again, she ruled out using dating apps.
Since the split, Smooth Radio host Kirsty was been romantically linked to a number of famous faces, with rumours that she was variously dating another former rugby player, Danny Cipriani, actor-turned-London mayoral candidate Laurence Fox, and former boxer Johnny Nelson.
But friends seem happy with her new choice of man. Pal and fellow sports presenter Natalie Pinkham commented on the Instagram snaps: ‘There she is. In love. On the beach. Devon heaven,’ along with emojis conveying love and celebration.
However, I’m not sure what Darren thinks of Kirsty’s wider family as her sister Laura is married to disgraced comic Russell Brand.
Will Rita be a TV mogul?
Her television work to date has mainly been as a judge on other people’s reality shows, such as The Masked Singer and The Voice.
But all that could be about to change as Rita Ora has set up a TV production company with her husband, Taika Waititi, the film-maker who is also behind several small-screen hits.
The couple, pictured right, have called their new joint venture Dog Entertainment.
Rita, 33, is a dog lover who adopted a shepherd mix rescue called Honey two years ago.
Rita's not the only one going into the production business. Spider-Man star Tom Holland is attempting to launch a film company in America by applying to the US Patent and Trademark Office to register Dream Ballet Pictures. Tom, 28, splits his time between the US and the UK and is in a long-term relationship with 27-year-old American actress Zendaya, whom he met on the Spider-Man set. The name Dream Ballet Pictures is likely to be a nod to Tom’s breakout role in the 2008 stage production of Billy Elliot.
Daisy's trouble with cannabis and cannibals
Daisy Edgar-Jones revealed yesterday she ended up in an ambulance after a panic attack triggered by smoking cannabis. But perhaps a mind-altering drug was never the best idea for an actress who has long struggled with anxiety – a problem exacerbated by her work.
The 26-year-old Normal People star, pictured left in New York on Friday, says one anxious moment came during the 2022 movie Fresh, when her character was being pursued by a cannibal. ‘My body was like, “Oh, what is happening?” Because it didn’t know the difference [between fiction and reality],’ she explained. ‘Even though my brain was like, “That isn’t real.” ’ Thankfully her next role after summer blockbuster Twisters is the love story On Swift Horses, which is 100 per cent cannibal-free.
Emma's got an ace ex
She may have suffered professional heartbreak at Wimbledon but Emma Raducanu seems to have got over a personal one.
The 21-year-old tennis ace was seen dining with her billionaire ex, Carlo Agostinelli, 23, at celebrity hotspot Cipriani in Mayfair last weekend. The pair, who met last year, are said to have split last month, but are clearly on good terms, despite wild rumours linking Raducanu to Wimbledon champ Carlos Alcaraz, 21, both right.
For those caught up in flight chaos over the weekend caused by an IT meltdown, Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo, right, has some advice: Embrace ‘a bit of woo woo’. Georgia, 29, who found herself trapped in an airport after her delayed flight was eventually cancelled, has been keeping calm by listening to meditation podcasts with titles such as Full Moon In Capricorn. Perhaps BA should send a link to all frazzled passengers?
Comedian David Walliams’s career as a children’s author seems not to have been damaged by the leak of a recording in which he made sexually explicit comments about a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent two years ago. The former Little Britain star is now preparing to write his first murder-mystery, Super Sleuth, which will be his 42nd children’s book.
As the BBC's new Dalek-battling Doctor Who, Ncuti Gatwa, left, has the ability to travel through space and time – as well as the power to reach deep into the pockets of fans, it seems. The star is charging £295 to have a photo taken with him at London’s Film and Comic Fair in November. Punters also get a mystery gift – for that price perhaps it’s a gold bar?
