He is a master magician – but Stephen Mulhern's huge salary is no illusion.
The 42-year-old TV entertainer has reportedly earned £3,051,682 in 12 months – closing in on the £3.6million a year earned by Graham Norton.
Mulhern, a former Butlin's Redcoat, was paid the vast sum over the year to February, around 40 per cent more than the £2.2million he made a year before, The People revealed.
His wages are driven by the sheer number of shows he works on.
They include quiz show Catchphrase, In For A Penny, Britain's Got More Talent and Big Star's Little Star.
There are also regular appearances in pantomime and a radio show.
Mulhern is due to return to a slot on Ant And Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway next year in place of Scarlett Moffatt.
