Ireland coach Joe Schmidt has revealed World Rugby admitted there were three incorrect offside calls given against his side during their shock 19-12 World Cup Pool A defeat by Japan.
Referee Angus Gardner, whom Schmidt had expressed concerns about in the build-up, was in charge although assistant referee Jerome Garces was blamed for two of the mistakes.
Garces is officiating Ireland's third pool game against Russia on Thursday, and Schmidt couldn't hisde his frustration.
