After weeks of failing to admit he has been hurting Chantelle, Gray was at risk of losing his family forever if he didn’t confront his problems head on.
Following a major ultimatum from his wife, the abusive character finally opened up about his anger towards her in the latest edition of drama from the Square.
Joined by his therapist at their home, the Atkins’ sat down to discuss the troubles in their domestic set-up.
As he admitted to taking his frustrations out on his beloved, the lawyer spoke about what he’d seen as a child and how he didn’t want to be the man his father was.

Recalling his troubled childhood, Gray said: “My dad, I suppose he was very strict, High standards my mum called it.
“Luckily he left when I was very young,” Chantelle’s husband transpired, before going on to admit his father was violent and abused his mother.
“I don’t remember much about him but, I remember the shouting and arguing,” he recalled as he explained he didn’t want to become the same person.
“I always said I’d never do what he did, not to my kids, I wouldn’t be that man. I spent my life working hard to do better than him.”
