After Kevin Clifton and AJ Pritchard announced that they will not be returning to Strictly Come Dancing this year, professional dancer Karen Hauer, 37, revealed she is optimistic about the future of the show.
When anybody leaves the show, it’s a shock.
AJ announced his departure from Strictly after being one of the professional dancers for four years, and his colleague, Karen spoke out after his decision.
The dancing champion told the Mirror: "When anybody leaves the show, it’s a shock and it is sad."
However, she then revealed she is excited for the return of Strictly this year, despite the show's recent losses.
Karen added: "I can’t wait for Strictly to bring that magic that everybody loves.”

The Venezuelan Strictly star has recently teamed up with her pal, Oti Mabuse, 29, who won Strictly Come Dancing last year with celebrity partner, Kelvin Fletcher, 36, to launch virtual activities for the nation to do from home during the nationwide lockdown.
The star said their "Home Festival" is a "free-to-access online space with fun for all ages".
Karen posted on Instagram to her 224,000 followers to share some information about the Home Festival.
