Ryanair hand luggage is pretty restricted if you’re looking to avoid paying extra. The budget carrier has limited options on a basic fare. So how much cabin baggage can you take on Ryanair flights?

Ryanair passengers are allowed to bring one small personal bag onboard for free.

It must be no bigger than the following dimensions: 40x20x25cm.

The luggage must fit under the seat in front of you.

If the item of baggage exceeds the size restrictions you will be charged a fee of £25.

The same payment will apply if you bring a second bag to the gate that you have not already bought.

Ryanair customers can pay for extra luggage in advance, however.
